A couple of years ago, my dad informed me of his business plan of supplying some businesses with their raw materials. I won’t detail the plan here, but the business did not push through because several reasons. The primary one is budget constraints. We weren’t able to get a loan because what we’re asking is larger than what our collateral can cover. The reason is that the land where we’re planning to erect commercial steel buildings cost too much.

This year though, we discussed among some partners and redesigned the business plan such that a smaller budget is needed. It’s still a high level plan, but I’m hoping that we’ll come up with the right one.

I’m very itching to leave my current company to have my own business. Just last month, one of my colleagues did exactly that. He’s currently struggling putting up his business, but the happiness and satisfaction in his face is very much evident compared to how he looked like in the office. I’m hoping that one day, I’ll see myself just like that.
