This year is a year of weddings for my generation, including mine. I’ve known a lot of my batch mates from elementary, high school and college who tied the knot this year. For some of them, I’m one of the secondary sponsors or bridesmaids, counting the wedding that I’ll attend on December of this year where I’ll be the candle sponsor.

What I noticed about this year is that there were lots of wedding-related events that were organized by different organizations. These events allowed merchants to showcase their wedding related products or services. This includes photography and video, wedding gowns, loose diamonds, rings, venue, catering and more. It also gave opportunities to would-be-couples to easily book their desired suppliers without going to different places as all these merchants are gathered into one wedding event.

Just a few days before our big day.

A week ago, we had the chance to shop for shoes. We checked on several brands such as Cole Haan, Floorsheim, Nine West and more. We were able to buy a pair.
As of now, we are still working on finer details such as song selection, payment to suppliers, food for the entourage, practice for procession and a lot more. We’re also finalizing the AVP and sequence of the songs to be played.
