Roger Federer won his 14th Grand Slam equalling the all-time record by Pete Sampres. He did that at Roland Garros on Sunday defeating Robin Soderling of Sweden 6-1, 7-6 (7/1), 6-4 in the final.  On his fourth try at Roland Garros, Federer became the sixth man to win all four Grand Slam championships.
