RV Travel and Camping
I’ve seen films and TV shows describing a vacation with an RV. Here are some to name a few
- In Robin William’s film RV in 2006, his family and other RV portrays joy, fun, troubles and problems of going into an RV camping and travel.
- In one episode in Desperate Housewives, Tom Scavo thought of buying an RV and then spend a year with his family traveling the country – in exchange for his restaurant.
- In the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rebecca’s dad bought an RV using the money that he and his wife saved for years.
This is common in the Europe and America and not that popular in Asian countries. To those who don’t know, RV stands for recreational vehicle. This is usually a bus type ready with bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and living room. Its most common purpose is for short vacation that includes travel and camping, typically with a family or a group of friends. There are also some adventure seeking people who permanently reside in them because they choose to travel and stay in different places. Whatever the reason is, this kind of escape from work sounds like a lot of fun, and I wish I get to experience it someday.
