How Jumping Training Can Help You Increase Your Vertical and Why it Works

Whether you want to start your jumping training due to sports or that cool video on YouTube, you can do so with a specific set of principles. The first thing to understand is you don’t just spring off your feet from some powerful leg movement. If you truly want to get the most from your jumping abilities, then it starts by powering your jumps from the core of your body (the torso). This means your arms, legs, and feet are all important as well.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to be the best simply by knowing it. In fact, if you don’t have the proper technique going in you won’t progress at all. That means understanding all theories – your anatomy, safety, nutrition, etc. – before you can begin to align your jump with what’s proper. True, some are gifted athletes with natural talent. But while that certainly contributes to motivation, genetics is no substitute for hard work. If you dig up the backgrounds of successful athletes, you’ll find one common thing – they worked hard to hone their skills and develop their natural talent.
