Christmas is a lot of fun especially when there are Christmas parties. During this season, people go to a lot of them with their entire family in tow. They go to parties at work, at church, from the neighborhood or of families and friends. During these times, whoever are the hosts, would try to make sure that everyone enjoy the day or evening.

Prior to the party, hosts would prepare the delightful foods. And the food served is in accordance to whether the party is daytime or nighttime. The hosts prepare finger foods, appetizers, sandwiches, barbeque, steak and more. For the drinks, beers, a variety of wines, and plenty of fruit juices to choose from are served. But not only foods do the planners prepare but also the decorations. Dcor is important as it brings the right atmosphere to the party. With regards to this, planners often put up Christmas lights that sparkle in so many magical colors, Christmas trees decorated with breathtaking crystals and shiny balls, and mistletoes that look and smell fresh. Christmas figures are also scattered around the venue. Dwarfs, reindeers, and even Santa Claus figurines are put up just to make the place more Christmas-y. Additionally, to add excitement to sweets lovers and children, they would scatter Christmas sweets around.

When these are ready, the next thing to prepare is the music. During the party, the hosts would play popular Christmas songs as they add to the feeling of the real Christmas essence. To make the party fun and unforgettable, hosts would throw in Christmas games in the program.

Some games can be played outdoors such as building of snowman and hunting for special gifts or Christmas sweets. Indoors, Christmas sweets hunt can also be done together with decorating of Christmas trees competition and arranging or re-enacting of the nativity.

For the awards, the planners can choose to give out cash, Christmas sweets, or gifts.
